Important Notice on Submission of Self-Certification Form – Common Reporting Standard Ordinance (CRS)

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your continuous support with CJS International.

According to the Hong Kong Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No. 3) Ordinance 2016 (the Common Reporting Standard Ordinance, CRS), all financial institutions in Hong Kong are required to collect certain information from the account holders (including but not limited to, name, date of birth, place of birth, jurisdiction of tax residence and tax identification number etc.) beginning 2017, to keep informed of the tax status of the account holders. Starting 2018, Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (IRD) commenced the exchange of reportable account information under Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (AEOI).

Please submit the duly completed Self-Certification Form to us before 10th March 2020 (Address: Customer Services Department, Suite 1908, 19/F, Cosco Tower, 183 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong). Please note that the Self-Certification Form is a formal declaration of your tax residence. In the event that we don’t receive your response, we will rely on the account information we have in our records to determine your tax residency for CRS reporting purpose.
